  1. c.1880

Clearly an individual effort, strikingly rendered zinc angel form.  Surface is beautifully mellowed with rich, deep patina.  Sheet zinc in reinforced on the reverse of the horn and the halo with delicate iron wire armature.

Strong and beautiful rendition in sheet iron with armature and rivets on reverse side. Surface is studded with square nails and carries the remnants of several paint surfaces.

Circa 1840

Found in a Quaker barn in Chester County, Pennsylvania.  Descended in Pusey/Briton family.  Dramatic form, sunburst mane, and (originally) pieced tail.

Copper with mustard sizing and verdigris surface

Very fine and stately Black Hawk, a famous Morgan trotter of the period frequently depicted in Currier and Ives lithographs.

Rare and original copper ball attached to the standard making for a very dramatic appearance.
